A resident of Chicago, Matthew “Matt” Brunstrum has worked as both a director of mergers & acquisitions for a publicly traded waste management company and as a senior advisor for boutique M&A firm. Today, Matthew Brunstrum is the CEO of Lakeside Acquisitions.
Mr. Brunstrum founded Lakeside Acquisitions in 2023. With a primary focus in the waste and recycling industry, the team as Lakeside aims to maximize sale value for owners of privately held companies.
Matt Brunstrum’s expertise culminates from his 12 years’ experience on all sides of the deal process; he knows how to bring all parties to the deal to execute transactions seamlessly. As of today, Mr. Brunstrum has successfully closed over 100 deals. More recently, his company was featured in Waste Today and Waste Dive.
Mr. Brunstrum has a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University. To augment his work, he attends the annual WasteExpo and Waste Corporate Growth Conference. His personal interests include attending Chicago sporting events, biking, boating, and fishing.
